I’m Danielle, a Cambridge-based buttercream florist, providing luxury floral celebration cakes and beautiful cupcake bouquets, perfect for any and every occasion!

Things I love:

  • Using the most eco-friendly packaging I can lay my hands on. You’ll find that a lot of things are home-compostable, or at least recyclable.

  • High quality ingredients, and free-range eggs

  • Getting to know wedding couples and celebration cake recipients. Nothing beats making a unique and personalised cake, and I’m all for hidden messages or Easter Eggs, and elaborate plots to surprise people with cake!

How I got started:

I set up my cake business as Tierly Beloved at the end of 2019, after making celebration and wedding cakes for friends and family over the years. A few months later, I took my first course on creating buttercream flowers, and quickly became addicted. I signed up for many other courses, learning different flowers and styles. In particular, I took an intensive 6 week course on specialist Korean-style buttercream flowers with BK Floral Delight. Following this, and a lot of practice, I set up the Flour Arrangements branch of my business in July 2021. I took a course with Butter&Blossoms in October 2022 working with palette knife florals, and have been working exclusively with buttercream floral designs since the beginning of 2023.
